- Believe that rape, abuse, and stalking are unacceptable and say it out loud.
- Have a conversation with your children about how important it is to end violence.
- Be sure that your children know that you are a safe person to talk to.
- Get training on warning signs of perpetration and victimization and respond when you see them.
- If you suspect someone you care about is a victim of violence, gently ask if you can help.
- Speak up when you hear sexist language or jokes.
- Check in with friends if you are concerned about their safety and get them connected to local resources for help.
